Cost-effective ServoWire Motion & Logic Controllers for integrated motion, I/O and networking solutions. The three new models; 30, 80 and 160, offer a small footprint, improved performance and more standard features. Utilizing Pentium processors, FireWire drive networking and Ethernet connectivity, the SMLC is a system that can control your entire machine.

Reduce your total system cost by replacing a standalone PLC and single axis motion controller/drive with the SMLC-SA. The single box solution reduces wiring complexity, panel space requirements and programming effort.

Combined with the SD Drive family enhances the popular networked digital drive line with the addition of IEEE 1394b technology. The 1394b network is more robust, efficient and faster than the previous 1394a network. The 1394b standard expands on 1394a, and defines a roadmap to 3.2 G-bit signalling as well as definitions for additional communications media (e.g. fibre optic).
